Medard Park | Family Photographer Brandon

If you know me, you know my love for Medard Park runs deep. It is a great park just to head out with your own family. The location for photos in the fall is always magical. The light, the mossy trees, the unique large rooted trees, and open space to run always makes it a hit for families of kids with lots of energy, too!

This family has now had two sessions at this park, it is that pretty! I loved seeing this darling family again this year and loved that they picked bright colors with fun patterns, too. The thing I love about Florida is you don’t have to wear traditional “fall” colors for family photos in the fall. Springy, bright colors work year round and as you can see from the green backdrop, the colors work great to stand out! The best part of this park was finding a patch of little wildflowers to stand behind and make us look like were in a magical field of flowers. But that is a little trick I have by using the right lens to give that allusion and make the best little spot for photos with a little bit of uniqueness. You never know what flowers or long grasses will be growing in this area and I love that because it means each family and each season provides a little bit different look for families, too. Spring is another great time of year for this park, especially for senior girl photos looking for a boho look!
