A few years back, I photographed this family as an extended family session. A lot has changed. They got their own fur baby almost a year ago. Moreover, a month before this session, they welcomed their daughter to their sweet family. They asked me to document their first family photos. I was absolutely thrilled. This Tampa one month photo session proves that newborn photos don't have to be done the first two weeks after babies are born to be just as gorgeous, right? Furthermore, I do love a squishy newborn but any age and stage is fun to document as babies grow up so fast. "Babies don't keep." Honestly, those may be the rawest words ever spoken to me. Raising two boys who are now thirteen, I can say they don't keep and it just flies by.

Besides, I love how their fur baby was just as photogenic as baby C. I mean, can you handle his fur face? Their home definitely played into dramatic black and white imagery. For artwork, they choice this first family black and white image as an extra large canvas. Clearly, it will be another work of art to hang on their walls. The canvas makes it easy to hang and transport without adding extra framing. The 40 by 30 inch size will look just as striking on their wall as the artwork behind them here.

After a few more indoor photos while baby C slept, we headed out to their little outdoor area after we documented her nursery and a few more family photos inside. Moreover, I love how we can do outdoor photos all year long in Florida. Additionally, the lush setting just outside their home provided shade and a gorgeous backdrop for their summery clothing colors. Plus, getting outside helps capture her first home and those details that may change as she grows up and moves on to new adventures.

Certainly, I loved this Tampa one month photo session so much. Honestly, I don't always get to document this age. I look forward to seeing them again at 6 months and hopefully again at one year, too. Undoubtedly, the first year goes by in a blink of an eye. If you are expecting, definitely contact me to talk about how to set up some milestone mini-sessions if you book a newborn session or full family session with me. Additionally, I had another client session this week that I photographed several times last year. Their little guy is now about to walk and just gets cuter and cuter, too. I didn't think that was possible. I can't wait to put together his first year blog review!
